Let’s start the season off with discussing how we can prepare our hearts for the Christmas Season -keeping Christ first during the busyness. I do realize it’s small business Saturday but bring your shopping friends and have a nice breakfast and time of fellowship before you hit the stores. Bring a dish to pass and a wrapped ornament to exchange. Feel free to make your own ornaments. Let’s have some fun!
By the time you read this, Rudolph and that feisty Elf on a Shelf will be everywhere you look. Twinkling lights, sparkling snow and wrapped presents are beautiful, but do you ever wonder just how many of our friends and neighbors know the true meaning of Christmas? What would you tell them if they asked? What would you tell them if you had their full attention? We are inviting Jesus-Lovers of all ages to write about why HE is the reason for the season. We encourage kids and adults to submit a half-page-or-so that sheds light on the true meaning of Christmas - it can be an essay, a testimony, a poem, or any other type of wordplay. Please leave your submission in the office for our judges by December 1st.
December 8th at 2:30 until Tree Lighting.
Catch a tractor pulled wagon ride at the Argyle School. Stops along the route will have plenty of activities and snacks for the kids.
Stop at the Argyle Presbyterian Church includes listening to Christmas Carols, Cookie Decorating, and Creating an Ornament.
Updates for the event can be found at this link.
December 15th after Worship
