Bryan grew up in the Piedmont region of South Carolina. After graduating college, he moved to St. Louis, Missouri, to attend Covenant Theological Seminary, where he earned his Master of Divinity degree in 2011. In 2012, he married Corinne, and together they are raising four children: Owen, Lily, Ezra, and Lewis. God called the Fitzgerald

God called the Fitzgerald family to Upstate New York in 2016, where they love the changing seasons and the tight-knit community of Washington County. Bryan enjoys reading, good food, slow moments, fireside conversations, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals.

Tawni has been Argyle Presbyterian Church’s administrative assistant for over 20 years. She keeps the office running smoothly with a cheerful spirit and uplifting music. Tawni and her husband, Dave, both grew up in Greenwich before building their home in Argyle, where they raised their two children, Katelynn and Zachary. She loves spending time with her family, especially camping and four-wheeling.
Matt grew up attending Argyle Presbyterian Church and graduated from Argyle Central School in 2021. He is currently attending college locally. With a strong interest in sound, video, and technology, Matt has volunteered for years in the church’s audio-visual booth. In 2023, he stepped into the role of Media and Tech Coordinator, helping ensure smooth worship services and digital outreach.
A lifelong resident of Argyle, Laurie has attended Argyle Presbyterian Church since high school. She has served in many roles, including Deacon, Fellowship Committee member, Sunday School teacher, Re-engage leader, and Bible study leader. Laurie and her husband, Dean, have two children and four grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and exploring nature.
Originally from South Glens Falls, NY, Lou moved to Argyle in 1971 and joined Argyle Presbyterian Church in 1972. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy, where a small-group Bible study profoundly impacted his faith. Following his military service, Lou returned to Argyle and became active in church leadership as a Trust
Originally from South Glens Falls, NY, Lou moved to Argyle in 1971 and joined Argyle Presbyterian Church in 1972. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy, where a small-group Bible study profoundly impacted his faith. Following his military service, Lou returned to Argyle and became active in church leadership as a Trustee and Elder. In 2020, Pastor Bryan Fitzgerald invited Lou to become the Men’s Ministry Coordinator. Lou and his wife, Sandy, live in Argyle and have four children and nine grandchildren.
Joyce is a lifelong Argyle resident and grew up attending Argyle Presbyterian Church, singing in the Junior Choir and, by 7th grade, joining the Adult Choir. Her love of music led her to study organ under Harry McNeil, and after just three lessons, she began serving as a substitute organist in local churches. In 1972, Joyce became APC’s
Joyce is a lifelong Argyle resident and grew up attending Argyle Presbyterian Church, singing in the Junior Choir and, by 7th grade, joining the Adult Choir. Her love of music led her to study organ under Harry McNeil, and after just three lessons, she began serving as a substitute organist in local churches. In 1972, Joyce became APC’s organist and choir director—and the rest is history. As her relationship with Christ has deepened, Joyce finds inspiration in selecting music that speaks of Jesus’s love. Her talent and leadership in worship are a true blessing to the congregation.
Elders at Argyle Presbyterian Church are both elected and ordained, serving as spiritual leaders and guardians of the church’s faithfulness to God’s Word. They oversee major ministry decisions and provide spiritual care and guidance for the congregation.
Current Elders:
Elected by the congregation, Trustees manage the church’s building, property, and finances. They bring practical wisdom and care to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for worship and community activities.

At Argyle Presbyterian Church, our Deacons serve with compassion and dedication. While they are not part of the church’s governing leadership, Deacons play a vital role by assisting the Elders in caring for the congregation.
